Hungary is getting married. What does the bride look like? This is what only a few people really know in Hungary. It is a fact that this marriage won’t be easy. The common law of the European Union contains more than 80,000 pages and we have to harmonize our legal system with it.
The countdown has already begun. We believe that domestic employers and employees will only be able to come up with solutions to the new challenges presented by the EU-accession if they enrich their knowledge in the appropriate manner – i.e. they develop their skills and obtain crucial information. The product development team of Develor, cooperating with trained EU-experts and EU-lawyers, was the first in the domestic training market to develop a training package concerned with the European Union. The purpose of this package is to help minimize the existing disadvantage caused by a lack of information and to increase the chance of a smooth accession.
The primary objective of this training is to build a knowledge base based on the fundamentals, which can help leaders guide their firms easily and smoothly through the challenging days of the accession.
During the first half of the training, we will review that knowledge that we need not only as an actor in the economy but as a citizen. This will serve as a review of those fundamentals without which it will be hard to exist and act efficiently in the European Union.
During the second half of the training, we will examine - in a customized fashion - the circumstances of the accession of the firm in question. In this part of the course, we will get answers to the following questions in connection with your firm:
- How will the more intensive competition influence the management of the firm?
- How should we analyze the new clientele and the position of the competitors?
- Should the current markets and products of the firm be changed?
- Should the structure of the strategic purchasing resources be modified?
- Do the methods of marketing need to be modified?
- How price-sensitive is the firm, and how does this influence the business process?
- How much subsidy may be required for the changes?
- How can the firm receive more subsidy for decreasing contingencies or for development?
- Who decides on the subsidy and on what basis? Can we lobby?
- How can the firm compete successfully?
The modules are built on practice-oriented EU communicational strategy, which ensures that, in addition to the results taken into consideration at the company level, attention will be given to the development of individual skills and knowledge.
By the end of the program the participants will be familiar with:
