Your managers may have attended a number of development programs. Many times this means, that they are not very keen on “yet another leadership training.” However, they still would benefit from further learning and from using the learned on the job.
You may also have a group of talents who are eager to develop their potential and you would like to encourage their development and ignite their inner fire just a little more.
Game- and story-based training focused and tailored to the needs of your managers can be an answer. Ideally, the “game part” should be extended beyond the borders of the training, thus raising the chances of long-lasting impact.
The question is – where do you find such an ideal solution?
DEVELOR inspires participants with a story of a successful leader and his team, who were able to achieve success under merciless circumstances, thanks to great strategy and preparation, well-formed team, willingness to risk, good leadership and focusing on one main goal.
This is what has driven the learning of more than 3500 participants in 250 training groups across 80 companies. Is it your time now?
In the two-day experiential learning programme, the participants will:
The dynamic combination of theory, videos, exercises of different levels and the movement on the board will keep them on their toes and feeling involved during the full 2 training days and will leave them with a deep memory footprint.
We even can achieve this effect in an online setup. Ask us about the details.
Roald Amundsen and Robert Falcon Scott undertook the same challenge, but both of them took a very different approach to achieve.
The story of the race of two men is actually a story of two very different leadership styles. During the training the participants compete in their race – there are two teams in the training. At the same time, they witness the video snippets documenting an actual journey to the south pole in the year 1911.
Connecting their training experience – planning, strategising, execution, ad-hoc decisions, situational exercises, model situation – with the story of Amundsen and Scott gives a unique learning benefit.

Increased Engagement
In addition to being fun, games also give you the opportunity to make decisions, achieve goals, and see your own progress. All this makes the participants involved and motivated.
Improved Information Retention & Recall
During the debriefing of the game at the training, we link emotional, memorable experiences to the content in a way that leads to deeper understanding and better retention. In addition, after the program, participants often return to the game mentally to recall what they learned.
Connects Concepts &. Ideas
Considering a situation within the game, participants study the information not in a linear manner, but in a complex way. They understand how one idea relates to another.
Makes Combining Abstract With Specific Easier
Game-based Learning is a way to show that concepts and systems that may seem theoretical and distant actually work and are used.
Makes Knowledge More Accessible
Employees with different levels of knowledge and skills can take part in the game-based training. Participants will be able to learn from the actions of more experienced colleagues and act intuitively.
Helps Develop Critical Thinking
Participants make decisions that require analysis and synthesis. Later, they will use this experience to solve similar problems in real life.
Promotes The Love For Learning
Games are fun. And when participants learn this way, they begin to fall in love with the subject, content and ideas. They realize that learning is really useful. And that makes them one step closer to lifelong learners.

In a face-to-face setting, Leadership inspired by Amundsen is a two-day experiential program. We try to tailor all of our development activities as much as possible to the needs and capabilities of our clients. In the case of this program, shortening is not an option as the targeted learning associated with the experience would not be possible to convey.
We have developed an online version of the program, which is set for 4 x 3 hours blocks, which are best delivered in two consecutive days.
