DIRECT is always organized during the last week of August. This is the time when DEVELOR teams from 10+ countries gather, roll up their sleeves, and mix serious business with genuine connection. This year, Warsaw became the buzzing heart of our community as colleagues from 10+ countries joined forces for Train the Trainer and DIRECT 2025.
Fresh topics, fresh tools, fresh perspectives
This event wasn’t just another conference. It was four days packed with energy, debate, and shared purpose. We explored the latest novelties from Insights, tested VR as a learning tool, practiced problem-solving techniques, and looked ahead to the big topics shaping leadership and development in 2025 and beyond: generational diversity, cultural transformation, problem-solving, assertive communication, challenging communication situations, and conflict handling.
But if you ask anyone who was there, the true magic was in the human moments. In the energizers that got everyone moving, the heated (but friendly) discussions over a cup of hot coffee or tea, and the “aha!” moments scribbled into notebooks. It’s where curiosity meets action – and where slides and strategies turn into real, living ideas.
Celebration, connection, and what’s next
We also learned more about our story- and game-based programs that are designed to prepare leaders for the challenges of the BANI world. And of course, there was time to celebrate: Warsaw by night city tour, a gala dinner with well-deserved recognitions, and plenty of laughs that reminded us why this community is so special.
A huge thank you to our Polish team for hosting us so warmly and setting the bar high for next year. Everyone left more inspired, with fresh tools and insights to share with their teams.
Where will we meet next? The location might be a mystery for now, but one thing is certain: the spirit of DIRECT will keep us learning, sharing, and growing. Together. Wherever we go.
