Insights Discovery - Critical Thinking

AI can generate answers quickly. People still need to judge their quality and decide what to do with them. Insights Discovery Critical Thinking develops the human judgement needed to evaluate information, challenge assumptions and take ownership of decisions in an AI-enabled workplace.

Using the familiar language of Insights color energies, participants explore their thinking strengths, preferences and blind spots. They discover how these influence what they trust, what they question and which perspectives they may overlook.

The practical CLEAR framework helps participants define the real problem, check evidence, explore options, assess risks and decide how to act. They learn to challenge assumptions and evaluate information, including AI-generated outputs, then apply the framework to a real workplace decision.

The experience builds on the Foundation and Critical Thinking chapters of the Insights Discovery profile. Additionally, digital preparation materials and learner workbook personalizes the experience. A manager playbook and recommended reinforcement supports ongoing application, helping people make more informed decisions as technology and workplace demands change.

By the end of the Insights Discovery – Critical thinking session, participants will: 

• recognise how their thinking preferences influence judgement
• question information sources, assumptions and AI-generated outputs
• use CLEAR to weigh options and make decisions they can own
