DEVELOR has been active in the market for the past 10 years, working with clients and building our reputation. What is happening now is a conscious renewal – building on what already exists, while opening up new possibilities.
At the heart of this new chapter is Suzana Skoko, who joins the DEVELOR network as Managing Director and co-owner of DEVELOR Croatia.
The relaunch is the result of several months of close collaboration. Together, we focused on getting the fundamentals right – aligning on direction, shaping the operation, and sharing knowledge to create a solid base for the future.

Suzana brings a strong mix of business understanding, structured thinking, and a clear focus on results. Alongside her professional background, she also has a unique personal story: she represented her country in two Olympic Games as a sport shooter – a field where precision, discipline, and focus are essential.

Meet Suzana Skoko
To bring you closer to the person, we invited Suzana to share her thoughts and experiences.
What motivated you to join DEVELOR and become part of this international network?
Suzana Skoko: “When I was first introduced to Develor, becoming a local partner wasn’t even on my radar. However, Zsolt was incredibly perceptive; sensing my hesitation, he suggested I attend BRIDGE – our annual international flagship event where the global Develor community converges to align on strategy and innovation. He told me to just come, see how Develor works, meet the people, and we would go from there. To put it simply: I was blown away. The sense of community, the depth of knowledge sharing, and the forward-thinking innovations left a mark on me. As I was saying goodbye after the event, I looked at him and said, “I want to be a part of this!” The rest, as they say, is history.”
How has your Olympic sports background shaped your mindset as a business leader?
Suzana Skoko: “The foundation of any successful athlete is discipline and consistency. To be thevbest, you have to start at the beginning, build a rock-solid foundation, and work tirelessly to improve. That has been my strategy in business, too. My first role was actually as a personal assistant, which was a humbling transition. It isn’t easy to go from being praised on national TV to fetching coffee, and I certainly had my share of “ego-checking” moments as a young professional. However, I was fortunate that the companies I had worked for invested heavily in various trainings and workshops to fuel my growth. Ultimately, those experiences shaped me into the leader I am today: someone with strong convictions and hands-on knowledge who understands how to help others carve their own paths and grow every step of the way.”
What were your first impressions during the onboarding and induction process at DEVELOR?
Suzana Skoko: “From day one, I was struck by the caliber of the team; it was clear that the right people were in the right positions. Everyone executes their role with absolute precision, yet they do so with a level of kindness that is rare in today’s corporate world. There is a constant, vibrant flow of knowledge sharing, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be on the receiving end of it. People are the most critical “ingredient” for any company’s success, and Develor has clearly mastered that formula. I have truly enjoyed every second of the journey so far.”
What do you see as the biggest opportunity in the Croatian market today?
Suzana Skoko: “The world is moving at a fast pace. Between AI and emerging technologies, many employees are struggling to keep up. This is where Develor stands apart – we aren’t just a “training company”. We provide a long-term development journey, leveraging innovative, cost-effective, and measurable solutions. In Croatia, the real opportunity isn’t just about learning “about” AI, but rather utilizing AI to revolutionize how we develop people. While AI integration in business remains low at 12%, we see a massive opening to bridge this gap by integrating AI tools into our training. This allows us to provide more personalized, data-driven, and impactful soft-skill development, ensuring that human growth keeps pace with technological change.”
What kind of impact would you like to create, both for your clients and within the DEVELOR community?
Suzana Skoko: “For our clients, I want Develor to be the first name that comes to mind whenever they think about people development. Within the Develor community, I want my colleagues to know they can count on me through every high and low. Whether we are working or celebrating, winning or facing a challenge, I’ll be there to share, support, but also lead whenever necessary. I am already so proud to call myself a Develorian.”
