Balance, focus, and courage: these words describe both Olena’s life and leadership. A former rock climber and yoga master who once piloted a plane, she believes that growth begins where curiosity meets determination.
As Managing Director of DEVELOR Ukraine & Central Asia, she helps people and teams rise with purpose.
Olena Sukhanova is an experienced leader with a passion for growth, people, and meaningful impact. Her professional journey spans more than 15 years across education, consulting, and international operations. She has built and led high-performing teams, developed new markets, and driven transformation projects in Ukraine and Central Asia.
Before joining DEVELOR, Olena served as Commercial Director at DEC Education Group, where she developed sales strategies, built partnership ecosystems, and launched joint educational programs with Arizona State University. Earlier, at the British Council Ukraine, she strengthened customer relations and business development in the education sector, gaining valuable insight into cross-cultural collaboration and global learning standards.
Olena also contributes her expertise to humanitarian work as Partnership & Corporate Giving Coordinator at Prytula Foundation USA, helping connect global donors with projects that save lives in Ukraine.
Guided by the principles of balance, focus, and courage, Olena brings authenticity and determination to everything she leads. She believes that leadership is about helping people rise — not only in their performance, but in purpose and confidence.
